A Poem is a City of Poets

Collaboratively composed, this hour-long composition pays homage to San Pedro poet Charles Bukowski along with local music styles. The members of the BCCM Laptop Ensemble were invited to perform the work at 2018’s soundpedro, an art’s festival celebrating sound art.
Movements written by Luis Aguilar, David Garcia Saldana, Sean Martineau Jones, and Cameron Johnston. With help from Director and Assistant Director, Dr. Martin Herman and Matt Lourtie.
